WHO ARE WE

InciSioN Ghana is one of the national working groups of International Student Surgical Network (InciSioN), an international non-profit organization, consisting of medical, public health, nursing students, residents, young doctors and early career professionals in the field of global surgery   from over 80 countries around the world whose vision is to see a world where there is timely access to safe surgical, anaesthetic and obstetric care for everyone, everywhere, when needed.

InciSioN Ghana was launched in Ghana on 17th November, 2020 and is currently a  registered non-profit organization with the Registrar General under the name International Student Surgical Network Ghana LBG since 20th September, 2022. It is also registered with the Non-Profit Organisation Secretariat (NPOS) and the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly.

As the working group on the ground, we work towards of equitable, safe, affordable and timely surgical, obstetric and anaethetic care by uniting healthcare professionals, and mentoring trainees in Ghana through research, advocacy and education.  We have membership from healthcare professionals and trainees from across all regions in the country.
