In 2018, our founder Dr Theophilus Teddy Kojo Anyomih attended the maiden International Student Surgical Network (InciSioN) Global Surgery Symposium (IGSS 2018). He was inspired to set up up InciSioN Ghana. Together with some of his colleagues, they submit a proposal to InciSioN and it was approved.

InciSioN Ghana was launched in Ghana on 29th November, 2020 to be a force working towards sustainable, affordable, accessible and timely surgery in Ghana
